Post launch AQuiJo came to Palma de Mallorca requiring some modifications and improvements to the boat post sea trials.
Vc Metalwork were once again chosen to assist the captain and his team to undertake various projects on-board from complex machining and fabrication through to structural welding and boat modification/engineering.
Major works on board included the modification of the aft transom section creating new panama/fairlead system to both port and starboard sides.
The work entailed cutting the exciting finished structure and adding under deck structural members to take the large mooring loads from this vessel. The area was then cosmetically repaired and readied for fairing/painting. High polish stainless pillars were then added to complete the works.
All works and materials were conducted under Lloyd’s certification.
